Graduation Day (from Baby school)
It’s graduation day!
It’s the final day once daily feeding
For your starter Baby goo paste
Not so much of a Baby anymore
Relish in all you have accomplished
What you’ve created
All the wonder
And joy
That parenthood brings
You’re just a week away from all the baking goodness!
Seven more days
Just a little more flour and water
And you’re there!
Your Baby will be all grown-up
And ready to produce offspring
Breads
Cakes
Cookies
Pancakes
And so much more
But don’t get ahead of yourself
We have to get through this last week
We have o get through the…
Teenage days
It’s going to be tough
Your Goo is going to fight and argue with you
But trust me
You will prevail
You can do it
Time to celebrate
Your last daily feeding
1/3 cup warm water
½ cup flour
Mix until it’s smooth~ish
Cover and let it rest
Now get your sleep
You will have to do this again in 12 hours
Tomorrow is twice daily feeding
And throwing some away
It will be heartbreaking to part ways
But you can do it
Sometimes you have to let go
To grow
Relax, get some sleep
And I will check-in with you tomorrow
You’ll feed in the morning and then in the evening
You will have to toss
And feed
